Rockbridge Area Transportation System, Inc. (RATS) operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. RATS also does not discriminate on the basis of sex, age, or disability in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination under any of these laws may file a complaint with RATS. Complaints may also be filed directly with the Federal Transit Administration or other appropriate federal agency.
